Blockchain Solutions is a software studio based in Salt Lake City, building since 2021. We design and ship websites, mobile apps, AI automation, blockchain, and custom software — for Utah businesses and clients worldwide. No layers of account managers; you work directly with the people who build your product.
The person behind the code
David Ring is a smart-contract and full-stack engineer who has spent years shipping production blockchain systems — Solidity smart contracts, DeFi protocols, NFTs, and cross-chain infrastructure — with the testing discipline and audit coordination that real value demands. He leads every engagement at Blockchain Solutions as developer, architect, and project manager.
His background is unusually broad: a foundation in mathematics, physics, and computer science at the College of the Holy Cross, and electrical engineering at Columbia University. That mix shows up in the work — rigorous where it counts, pragmatic where it matters.
In 2025 he won the Atrium Academy Uniswap Hook Incubator Hookathon for a privacy-preserving decentralized exchange built as a Uniswap v4 hook using homomorphic encryption (FHE) — a good snapshot of how he works: deep on the hard parts, shipping something real.
He's also AI-native by habit — building with AI day to day, and building AI into what the studio ships. And having created EmpathEase, an NVC communication app, he runs projects the same way he builds them: clear, calm, and honest.
